What we are looking for
Front end
Service Portal development you have done yourself. Widgets, meaning the HTML template, the client controller and the server script, and a clear understanding of how the two sides communicate. Be ready to walk us through one.
AngularJS as Service Portal uses it, or strong JavaScript and the confidence to pick it up quickly.
HTML and CSS you are genuinely comfortable in.
Core development
Server-side scripting. Business rules, script includes, the Glide APIs, and the judgment to know which to reach for.
Access control lists and role-based security.
Client scripts, UI policies, UI actions.
Notifications, events and scheduled jobs.
REST integrations, inbound and outbound, including handling failure gracefully.
Flow Designer.
Data modelling. Tables, relationships, and why a field belongs where it does.
