Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities - Work with stakeholders within the organization and more importantly with our customers to identify opportunities for leveraging customer?s machine data to nuggets of information. - Mine and analyze data from machine log data to drive optimization, reduce failures or solve any other business use case. - Use a development oriented tool to develop web based reports and dashboards based on customer requirements and data coming from a data warehouse. - Use HTML, CSS & JS to manage placement of report components. - Program SQL queries, use Rest Apis to retrieve large datasets from databases in order to identify and evaluate trends, plot charts and analytical tabular reports. - Perform ongoing data validation and testing to ensure data integrity and reliability - Prepare management reports to effectively communicate and explain complex information, define and evaluate problems, identify underlying facts or trends, and present conclusions or recommendations Our Ideal Candidate: - Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development. -We?re looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience manipulating data sets and building visual analytics. - Must have worked in web based software development projects. - Must have Excellent knowledge of HTML, Javascript, CSS, Ajax - Must have experience in using LogiXML for report building - Write database procedures in SQL and tune SQL Queries for performance - Understand Rest interfaces and the ability to build reports and dashboards by querying data from these Rest Interfaces - Strong Relational Database and NoSQL database experience. - Experience in formulating a query workflow from a data request - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
