Software Engineer

Job Description Major Responsibilities: The role will have the following key responsibilities: - SDET is an expert role and demands a complete hands-on contribution on Single or multiple projects simultaneously. - Innovate, design, and develop test automation frameworks from scratch for web applications, mobile applications, and web services testing - Create , review and update automation test cases created for product functionalities. - Plan and execute test cases, test design, test coverage, and test approach. - Report issues through a BTS and work with the development/design teams to help isolate, debug and resolve bugs. - Contribute to and improve existing quality processes. - Develop and run manual tests for areas where automated tests are not practical in terms of investment and return. - Perform RCA for issues found in the system. Qualifications: - 0-3 years of Exp. in Software Automation, Core Java, Linux/Unix experience. - Must have prior experience in creating optimal test strategy (Including Functional, Non-Functional, Analytics and automation) and test plans for short term and long-term projects both. - Working Experience on Selenium or device automation frameworks like TestNG, Appium etc. - Strong Database Concepts and exposure to query languages like mySQL, noSQL. - Good programming and logical skills. - Knowledge on git, setting up regression suites and CI build systems. - Proven expertise in using at least one testing automation system. - Exposure working in an agile set-up. - Must have understanding and implementation level experience on design patterns. - Must be able to handle the independent execution with minimal guidance. - Prior hands-on experience or understanding on working with Kafka, Storm, Springboot, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Solr, AWS, Dockers is a plus. Should possess good communication skills. Experience in Performance or Load Testing will be a plus.
