Job Details
Responsibilities & Tech Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in SQL/pgSQL including stored procedures, functions, triggers and views
- Experience managing more than 10TB of data
- Expert in PostgreSQL Database internals.
- Implement and maintain database code in the form of stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc.
- Expert level query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels
- Experience in using JSON datatypes/objects are essential
- Experience with message queuing full text indexing, and other high performance data concepts.
- Experience with NoSQL support in PostgreSQL.
- Should be able to implement effective and maintainable database coding practices that form an architectural foundation.
- Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of all production databases.
- Participate in the creation of development, staging, and production database instances, and the migration from one environment to another.
